Jon Enns is classically trained multi-intrumentalist and serves as Bandwagon Studio’s resident drums and bass expert. Jon teaches guitar, ukulele, banjo, piano, sight reading, bass & drums. He specializes in advanced drums, bass and music theory. Jon’s bus services Lihue to Kekaha.
Coming from an extremely musical family, Jon began playing drums at the age of 2 and piano at age 4. He added bass and guitar in his teens and in the past two years has begun to understand the depths of the ukulele, banjo and washtub bass.
Jon has performed on stage from the age of 7 onward, starting in church bands, polka bands and continuing on to coffee shop jazz groups, jazz bands, pit orchestras, touring college bands and most recently has begun working as a session drummer and bassist.
His musical training included years training in music theory and piano with the Royal Music Conservatory of Canada, piano proficiency and theory in college, as well as a minor degree in worship arts at Crown College. Along with being a well-rounded music instructor, he also spends time leading worship and volunteering with the youth group at Kauai Christian Fellowship . Since moving to Kauai, he has added mountain hiking and surfing to his varying list of activities and has become quite proficient at dodgeball.
